Warmset was born in 2007 as an internal project within the ranks of the Camerra family, the sole owner of Filmcutter Holdings SpA. In the '90s, Filmcutter invented and patented solar panel back sheets, which have become a standard componentry in the photovoltaic manufacturing industry.

Today, Filmcutter is the European leader by market share in insulation for electric motors, generators, and transformers, supplying about 90% of the European market.

After developing a number of patents, in 2012 Warmset becomes ready to operate independently, while still able to tap into the know-how, technologies and resources of mother company Filmcutter.

Through an innovative, globally patented technology and the use of laminated resistive components, Warmset delivers a completely re-engineered electric heating system that offers numerous achievements and breakthroughs in the field of electric heating.

Warmset has partnered with Be Well Group in Adelaide to launch Warmset Australia and develop our footprint in Australia and New Zealand.

Why are we better?

Zero electric
shock risk

Warmset heating element is wrapped within two layers of aluminum, therefore in case of accidental damage (such as drilling a hole during floor installation), the electrical parts converge directly to earth, dispersing electrical currents to the ground.

This grounding system prevents damages and devastating effects on the operators and is perhaps one of the most important features of Warmset from the builder's perspective.

11 layers,
3mm thin

The core of this unique heating technology is the globally patented multilayered laminated heating strip.

Strong and durable, it is easily manageable, hard to damage during the installation process (even if you'd try!), and does not require any future maintenance.

Interestingly, no copper is used in the heating strips, which makes Warmset a much greener system.

Bespoke at
no extra cost

Warmset was born to serve the commercial building sector before was ever involved with residential. Therefore, we are accustomed to dealing with bespoke projects.

You will not be penalised in cost or lead times, and you will enjoy the optimal heating solution for your home or building.

Our team in Australia will work closely with the team in Italy and project-manage your unique needs.

17mm wide
heating element

Warmset heating strip is 17mm. wide, which is at least 3 times wider than a traditional cable, normally only 3-6mm wide. Wider heating surface means more heat is radiated, per sqm.

On average, each sqm of Warmset heating mat contains 200% more material compared to traditional cable systems, leading to 50% more heating surface.

Higher heating surface, means reaching targeted temperature faster, at parity of watts. Think of two cars, where one has a better fuel yield: same litres of fuel in the tank, same size of tank, but higher numbers of kms is driven.

only 5cm between heating strips

Warmset heating strips are not only wider but also closer to each other, as the comparison image below shows (blue cable over yellow strip). This means that the increased heat radiancy is amplified further. And that means reaching target temperature faster. Other systems will have to work harder to match the output

of Warmset.

6 choices of watt,
from 35 to 200

Traditional electric heating systems generally only offer 150W or 200W per sqm. This is a blanket solution, a "one-fits-all" approach that creates inefficiencies.

Warmset is able to provide a custom heating power based on the specific needs and characteristics of the space that requires heating.

Warmset produces anything from 35W to 800W for a broad field of applications. For the commercial built environment, 6 standard wattage options are available, so architects and engineers can make custom recommendations to their clientele, without wasting their money.

Hello Sunshine!

Why radiant FIR heating feels so good?

Ever wondered why standing in the sun feels warm even in winter temperatures? It's because the sun radiates Infrared waves.

Far Infrared (FIR), the safest and healthiest form of infrared, transfer energy purely in the form of heat, which penetrates the body up to 4cm beneath the skin. That's why we refer to a sensation of warming from "the inside out".

Far Infrared: natural, healthy,
efficient and safe

Infrared should not be confused with ultraviolet, x-rays or any other form of dangerous Sun radiation. There are three frequencies of infrared emitted by the Sun: near, medium and far, with Far Infrared being the deepest and most beneficial.

The beauty of infrared is that they heat solid objects rather than the air around it, with minimal dispersion; in fact the human body naturally absorbs 80% of infrared radiation, which is perceived by thermoreceptors in the body as heat.

Infrared technology replicates the Sun energy and is used in a wide range of medical, commercial and consumer applications, such as incubators in nursery wards, clothing, upholstery, saunas and many others.

Some of the most common cited benefits of FIR are: increasing artery blood flow and peripheral blood circulation, improving endothelial function, alleviating fatigue and pain, reducing blood pressure, and promoting capillary dilatation.

The first commercial form of FIR heating comes from Japan and dates back to 1979. The beauty of all this is that our skin is naturally designed for absorbing infrared heat, making FIR heating systems not only super efficient but also the best and most beneficial form of human heating.
